  12. I'm quite dim when it comes to scanners and the amiga so these
  13. may be dump questions...

  15. First, is there like a scanner standard, so all you need is
  16. scanner software and you can use any scanner?  Or do you need
  17. special software, or a driver, for each scanner?  I'm suspecting
  18. you need a driver...

  20. I'm asking because my friend may pick up a Microtek ScanMaker E3.
  21. Never heard of them myself, but it's a flat bed and on sale for
  22. only $289.  So I'm wondering if there is any amiga software I could
  23. use with this thing so I can borrow it from him every now and then.

  25. I have ADPro 2.5, can I do anything with that?  Or are there any other
  26. software suggestions?  Or am I out of luck with the Microtek?
